2010 is coming.

The new year 2010 is coming in about four days! I hope all of you have enjoyed yourself while celebrating the Christmas. Let us welcome the year 2010 and don't forget our goodbyes to the year 2009!

To the year 2009,

We know that you are going to leave us soon, and we have no choice but to move on with our lives. Whatever we have done in the past will become unforgettable memories in our hearts. Although we still have about four days to live together, but we should appreciate the remaining days together before saying goodbye. After the parting, we will never forget that you have once appeared in our lives! Farewell 2009.

To the year 2010,

We are going to meet in about four more days, really look forward to welcoming you. We can't wait to know what kind of surprise that you will give us when we meet. Will you give us more challenges? Will you give us more happiness or sadness? Will you be an easy stuff to deal with? Will you .......... There are lots of questions are running in our minds, but no matter what happen in the future, we should live well together. A pleasure to meet you, 2010! ^^

Once again, wish everyone Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Cheers. =)

Shop Until We Drop.

Today I wake up at 8 o'clock in the morning even though today is my off day. I have waited this day for so long and I definitely will not want to miss the spending spree. J Card Members' Day is held at the JUSCO Midvalley today.

On this special day, JUSCO will open at 9 o'clock in the morning. My family and I just reached on time and we managed to get a nice parking. We are all excited and in a mood for bargain hunting.

Sea of faces can be seen upon entering the JUSCO. Everyone is ready for spending spree of the day. Firstly, I went to the Men's Department to get some clothes including jeans, short pants, slack, T-shirts and UNDERWEAR. XD My mum and my sister went to the Ladies' and Kids' Department as well.

All items are discounted range from 10% to 70% except for the new arrivals. While I was 'ransacking' the items that I wanted to buy, I bumped into some of my secondary school's friends and college friends as well.

My family and I spent about three hours at the departments. We ended up in a long queue at the cashier counter and we spent roughly about RM600 on clothes. After that, we went to the supermarket to get some food for lunch and dinner.

After we redeemed some JUSCO vouchers, we were on our way back home. If you do not wanna miss the spending spree of the year, tomorrow is the last day and you can make your way to JUSCO Midvalley.

Shop until you drop for once in a while! =)

God's Dealing.

Thanks to Uvaraj for sharing this story :

A man was riding his Harley along a California beach when suddenly the sky clouded above his head... In a booming voice, the Lord said, "Because you have tried to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one wish."

The biker pulled over and said, "Build a bridge to Hawaii so I can ride over anytime I want."

The Lord said, "Your request is so materialistic. Think of the enormous challenges for that kind of undertaking; the supports required to reach the bottom of the Pacific and the concrete and steel it would take! I don't condone your desire for worldly things. Take a little more time and think of something that could possibly help mankind."

The biker thought about it for a long time... Finally, he said, "Lord, I wish that I, and all men, could understand our wives; I want to know what she feels, what she's thinking, why she cries, what she means when she says nothing's wrong, and how I can make a woman truly happy."

The Lord replied, "You want two lanes on that bridge or four ?"

Meghan and Cheyne.

Meghan and Cheyne won a one million US dollar for The Amazing Race Season 15! A big congratulation to them. They are my favorite team especially Meghan because she is the most competitive woman racer that I have ever seen so far. She does not only have outer beauty, but she has brains and brawns too. What I can say is Cheyne is a lucky man and if not because of Meghan, the team would not have won the race.

For your information, they are a dating couple and I heard they plan to get marry after the race. Wish them a life of marital bliss. ^^

I wished I could join The Amazing Race one day. Asia version also can LAR, as long as I get to travel around the world and join the race with someone I trust and is reliable. The prize money is not important but the invaluable experiences that matters. =)

Have a good night everyone.

Tai Sui.

Sorry for deserting my blog for quite some time, even it is holiday now. For your information, I am back to Himawari for part-time job. The boss requested me to work almost everyday and today is my off day. Anyway, another objective during the holiday is achieved - I got a part-time job. Two down, FIVE to go. =)

For those who do not know, Himawari is a Japanese restaurant which is located inside the Kuala Lumpur Japan Club, Seputeh and it is just a throwing stone distance from Midvalley Megamall. I am glad to meet the colleagues again as they are really friendly people.

This morning, my mum accompanied me go to the temple near Petaling Street for a prayer session. The purpose of the prayer is to worship the Lord of Tai Sui, as my Chinese Zodiac (Goat) has offended the Tai Sui this year, the Year of Ox. I had signed up for the Tai Sui Blessing Ceremony during the Lunar New Year period, and now it is the time to show my gratitude to the Lord of Tai Sui through the Thanks-giving Ritual.

Tai Sui (太岁) refers to stars directly opposite to Jupiter, also known as the God of Health, Prosperity and Luck. They influence the Chinese Zodiac, and are also a theory in religious Taoism and Feng Shui.

In the Chinese zodiac, there are sixty heavenly generals who assist the Jade Emperor in taking charge of the well-being of the Mortal World. Each of them takes turn to be in charge for a year. Due to most of them having a military background, they are normally known as the Military Generals, or as the Cycle Gods. Each of their features and weapons signifies the well-being of that year. For example, if the Tai Sui of the year is one who holds a pen, it signifies political unrest for that particular year. On the other hand, if the Tai Sui of the year holds a spear or sword it signifies the need to work hard and excel for that year.

Those whose Chinese Zodiac is offended, or by their sign conflict or clashes with the Tai Sui of the year are advised to go through a prayer session in a temple with a Spiritual Master to ask for blessing in obtaining Peace and Good Fortune throughout the year.

I going to work tomorrow. Good night. ZzzZzz.

Genting Trip

Just back from Genting trip. I am freaking EXHAUSTED right now, but I am glad I have achieved one of the objectives during the holiday, i.e. go for a Genting trip with SN10rians. One down, SIX to go. =)

17 of us took bus from Pekeliling bus station to Genting Highlands yesterday. Some of us including me only stay for the first night and some of us stay for two nights. We only managed to reserve one room in the Theme Park Hotel and imagine how 17 of us can 'squeeze' into one room. Well, that was the cause for my sleepless eyes and nobody would have slept well indeed.

This morning, not all of us going for the theme parks as many of them were tired and were sleeping in the hotel room. I am proud of myself today because for the first time in my life, I have taken the most scariest ride in outdoor theme park, The Solero Shot. I kind of afraid of heights and I do not know why I got the guts today to take the ride. XD

To see the photos of the Genting trip, click here. It is one of my classmates, Ng Ting Ting's blog. =)

Holidays.

"1, 2, 3, not only you and me, got one eighty degrees and I'm caught in between..." the ringtone was heard while I was sleeping in my hostel and it made me raise my eyelids that weigh a thousand kilograms. I got annoyed but I woke up and answered the call.

"Hey, dad and I are coming to pick you up in few minutes time. Get Ready." Mum said.

"Ok, mum." I mumbled. I looked at the time and date with my half-closed eyes, it was 8.00am, 21 November 2009. Guess what? Well, today is the School Pre-University Studies (SPUS) Parent-Lecturer Day of TAR college. I "swifted" to the bathroom and get myself clean before my parents came.

After having our breakfast, we headed to the SPUS classrooms to see my fellow lecturers. First, I went to see my (Further) Pure Maths lecturer and (Further) Applied Maths lecturer, followed by Physics lecturer, General Paper lecturer and Economics lecturer. The lecturers gave me lots of good comments and words of motivation. Really appreciated them a lot. =)

The Parent-lecturer day marked the end of first semester and the beginning of the semester break. Everyone loves holiday, who doesn't? But six weeks holiday sounds disastrous to me! Boredom will be my main 'obsession' and I will have to spend some time to do revision for my AS syllabus. Since it is a long, long holiday, I have made some plans that need to be accomplished before the next semester start.

1. Going for Genting trip with my crazy bunch of SN10rians!
2. Meet up with primary/secondary school friends.
3. Study English for my General Paper.
4. Brush up my Japanese language.
5. Finish reading all my story books that I have bought earlier.
6. Revise AS syllabus for all the subjects especially Physics and Further Maths.
7. Get a part-time job for weekends.

I wanted to go for School of Business Studies's (SBS) Prom Night but the tickets had sold out. Urgh! Blame Wai Xiang for not reserving the ticket for me. =P

Lastly, I just want to say

SN10r totally ROCKS! =D

Happy Holiday to all of you and I will definitely miss you guys during the holiday!

p/s: Credit to one of our 'class flowers', Ng Ting Ting who have edited this photo and thanks to Calvin Boey's family for organising the best barbeque party ever! =)

Farewell.

I would like to send my farewell wishes to two friends here, Kam Yih Neng and Sia Qi Ren. Both of them were leaving for United Kingdom in few weeks time to pursue their studies and venture a new life.

Besides Marilyn and Ying Hui (my SN10r classmates), Kam Yih Neng is also one of the friends that I know during the first day of class. Four of us were quite close at first as we always sit together in lecture hall and chat like old friends together during breaktime. The impression that he gives us is quite cool and kinda serious. It's very hard to crack a joke that can make him chuckle. Well, he doesn't even laugh when he tells a joke to anyone! As time passes, we realise that he is a sleeper and skips classes often. LOL. Hey dude, please change your attitude LAH!

The guy in the middle is Sia Qi Ren. He is one of my housemates in Taman Bunga Raya housing area, located near TAR college. I was alone on the first day of staying in the house as many people have moved out and some housemates went back to hometown for holiday. I met him on the second day of staying and I find that he is a friendly housemate and he has a good personality. Just don't do anything that irritates him or he will be very crossed with you! XD

The picture above was taken yesterday, we went to hang out in Pavillion and watched A Christmas Carol in 3D cinema. Well, the movie was quite boring as they are too many dialogues, no subtitles and the accents were quite hard for me to catch the lines, but the graphics and animations were excellent. I will rate this movie 6 out of 10. =) I will recommend this movie to those who are studying graphic/multimedia design or any field that deals with animations.

After watching the 3D movie, I think I'm going to "bankrupt" soon. T.T

Few years ago, I lost one friend to United States, and another to Australia. Today, I will lost two friends to United Kingdom. Goodbyes will be said but they are not forever and are not the end of our friendship. Yih Neng and Qi Ren, it's been great knowing you guys. I would like to wish both of you all the best in UK and in your future endeavors. Do keep in touch with us! =)

May road rise up to meet you,
May wind be ever at your back,
May sun shine warm upon your face,
May rain fall softly on your fields,
Goodbye, until we meet again. =)

2012.

You guys have to watch this movie! It's truly amazing.

This movie is about two hours and a half but it is definitely a worth-watching movie. Actors and actresses from different countries, stunning special effects, thrilling scenes, touching lines and beautiful settings - just to name a few.

The year 2012 is coming very soon. Oh man, I don't want to die so early and in a painful way. T.T

Hey, check this movie out as well, Jennifer's body.

Don't always trust PRETTY and SEXY girls. They are all EVIL. LOL. XD

Will.

According to Wikipedia, a WILL, which is also known as a testament, is a legal declaration by which a person, the testator, names one or more persons to manage his estate and provides for the transfer of his property after the person's death. Many people have the wrong perception about writing a will as they think will writing indicates that a particular person is going to die and this does really sound bad to those who are superstitious especially the elder generations. In Malaysia, about RM4oo billions worth assets of the deceased is frozen and unclaimed under the Law of Malaysia. Well, that is a SHOCKING amount and it is because many do not write their wills while they are still alive.

Today, I accompany my mum to attend a talk organised by the ROCKWILLS at one of its branches located at the Old Klang Road. We find the talk was very informative and I will rate it 9 out of 10. We have learnt a lot about the importance of will writing. A person can always write his or her will anytime with the help of the lawyers or will companies. It's never too early or too late to write a will, as long as you have valuable property that you want to pass it down to your parents, spouse, issues and relative when you are not 'AROUND'.

Even if you do not write a will, there is always one after your death. The will is 'written' by the government according to The Distribution Act 1958(Amended in 1997).

As you can see from the distribution table above, if you do not write a will before your death, worst come to worst, the assets will belong to the GOVERNMENT. Even the property does belong to your beneficiary, it will take up to 10 years to claim those assets. The reason? You must know that Malaysia government's efficiency of doing work is the 'BEST'. Well, if a person has a will, the whole legal process will just take couple of months.

A person without a will might cause disastrous problems after his/her death. Family conflict will arise and the High Court will decide the distribution of your property. It might not be your wish and your family will definitely split up. I am sure you have heard about the cases in which the family of a millionaire or a celebrity is fighting with each other for the distribution of the deceased's assets.

My parents have decided to write their wills. I should be grateful that I have such wonderful parents because they are not only raising me up since I was in my mum's dummy, but they also make sure I am finacially protected in the future. Mum and dad, thanks for everything. I LOVE YOU ALL.

So, are you ready to write your will for your loved ones? =)

Slow Dance.

Below is a poem written by a terminally ill teenager in a New York Hospital. It was sent by a medical doctor. The young girl has six months left to live and her dying wish is she wanted to tell everyone to live life to the fullest through this poem, since she will never do so. Please pass this poem on. =)

Slow Dance

Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a
Butterfly's erratic fly?
Or gazed at the sun
Into the fading night?
You better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short
The music won't last.

Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask "How are you"?
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done
Do you lie on the bed
With the hundred chores
Running through your head?
You better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short
The music won't last.

Ever told your child
"We'll do it tomorrow."?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die?
Cause you never had time
To call and say "Hi".
You better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short
The music won't last.

It's Over.

The gruelling exam week has finally passed. Some papers I did OK, some paper I did awfully. Today it's the worst day of the exam week as I did my Physics paper "EXCELLENTLY". There are many uncertainties in my answers and I did not answer most of the subjective questions. Overall, I think my paper is quite 'clean' and 'screwed'.

After the Physics test, a lot of people were moody and some of them even break down. No doubt that the paper was hard and most of the students cannot manage to finish the paper. You study hard, do all the tutorials but in the end you did not make it well for the test. Imagine how dissapoint you will get. I guess this is what we called LIFE huh? >.<

Somehow, we still have to enjoy life even there are many trials and tribulations. After the exams, my classmates and I went to GREENBOX for singing session. There are only ten of us because most of the classmates wanted to go back to their hometown. After having our lunch at Gasoline, we sing as joyful as we can to release the stress that we get from the exams.

I cannot guarantee that I will pass the Physics paper with 40 marks or above but I am more concern about my scholarship. If I fail Physics, merit scholarship given by TAR college with be withdrawn and I will have to pay my fees for the next semester. Urgh! If this is going to happen, I will feel sorry for my parents because I have increased their burden.

Anyway,

EXAMS IS FINALLY OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

XD

Malaysians.

What makes a Malaysian a Malaysian? Just admit that you are a TRUE Malaysian if you agree with the following statements.

1. Supposing a typical young Malaysian can name all the players from a top English Premier League club, but if you ask him to name one football player from Malaysia, he KENOT!

2. When Streamyx come, you complain Streamyx too slow. When Maxis Broadband come, you complain Maxis Broadband always disconnects. When P1 WiMax come, you complain P1 Wimax is too expensive. In the end, you say Streamyx still the best LAH.

3. When highway toll price increases, you complain. When petrol price increases, you complain. When you go Starbucks and buy RM10++ coffee, NO COMPLAINTS.

4. When you cannot find parking in a shopping mall and have to walk very far, you complain. When you go inside the shopping mall and there's MEGA SALE, you will run from one end to the other, NO COMPLAINTS.

5. You are always late and the excuse you give is always either TRAFFIC JAM or NO TRANSPORT.

6. You complain against the government in Kopitiam, you talk loud loud. Leave anonymous comments on blogs, you also talk loud loud. Attend ceremah by DAP, you shout loud loud. Then when Opposition organise a protest and ask you to go, you don't want to go because you scare KENA TANGKAP by ISA.

7. When a Chinese student get a scholarship, you say 'WAH! Very clever HOR?' When a Malay student won a scholarship, you say 'AIYA! Of course lah! He Malay mah!'

8. When a Mat Salleh stranger kisses you on the cheek to say hello, you are very happy. When a Malaysian guy kisses you on the cheek to say hello, you SLAP his face.

Don't you think it's true? =)

Mood.

Another week has passed. Exams are just around the corner, which is two weeks from now. I really have no idea what am I doing these few weeks, but I have a premonition that I am going to do my exams awfully. If this is going to happen, I will get my scholarship withdrawn by the college. I am starting to feel the STRESS right now.

I wish the computers and Internet did not exist in the world. During weekends, I always have the desire to spend my time with them. They take away my mood and precious time to revise for my exams. Maybe it is time to ask my parents to confiscate and keep my lappy. LOL. Well, I should get my brain and finger bones start working as soon as possible. If not, I will have to KICK THE BUCKET during my exams.

By the way, I just got a new handphone W580i. It is a Sony Ericsson handphone with sliding feature. There is a mic. problem with my previous handphone so my mum decided to buy me a new one. Goodbye, my traded-in Sony Ericsson K610i. Not forgetting to say thank you to my dearest mum! Muacks.

Got to go. Adios.

The Truth.

I know the article below is kinda long, but it's about the history of our country and there is truth in it. A must-read article by all Malaysians.

Melayu By a Malay-Syed Imran

You may have already read this article I published more than a year ago, below this is another article written by a "Malay" who I salute, that reinforces what I have said..

I'd like to challenge your article on the origins of the word Melayu.

(I hope you will not be emotional about this email and create an issue about it, but rather treat this as an intellectual argument between two matured individuals. I have presented facts here for you to review, and if you disagree please substantiate it. Since you have come out with a blog to attempt to tell us the origins of the word Melayu, and as a Malay, if you are really and truly keen in your own heritage and roots, I am writing to you with the facts of the origins of the word Melayu, in fact there are many scholars of yesteryear's, Malays, who will tell you that the only original words in the Malay language are "Tanah" and "Melayu")

Melayu is derived from the Javanese word Melayu, there are many other words in the Malay vocabulary that actually come from the various Asian languages mostly those of Sanskrit Origin.

The Sanskrit in Malay is derived from the Indian influence of the Majapahit, Srivijaya and other Indian influences in South East Asia. This particular word in Bahasa Malaysia is derived from the word Melayu from Javanese. Javanese was the lingua franca of the people in the region having had its own script, which was actually taken from the Arabic script, the bugis and the rest have dialects close to Javanese.

The Malay language in its romanised context only evolved in the early part of the 20th century.

In Javanese the word Melayu means running away, or a runaway, that is why if you go to Java and ask a Javanese if he is Melayu he will feel very insulted. The word Melayu found on the statue as claimed in your URL, http://www.sabrizain.org/malaya/malays4.htm thus denotes that this person was a Melayu, a "Runaway."

These people, the runaways whether in Sumatra or in the Malay Peninsula referred to themselves as orang Melayu, it is therefore no coincidence that the word orang is placed before Melayu, people who ran away so to speak.

In the Malay Peninsular, it was gradually accepted as the word to describe the Javanese, the Bugis, the Menang, the Achinese etc. and even the Kelantanese who are actually Yunanese and have their origins in China, because they recognized the fact that at the end of the day they were all Melayu, or Run Aways from their respective homelands the word was accepted by all these communities to describe themselves.

In fact, before the formation of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), it is a fact that all the people in the country had referred to themselves as Menang, Achinese, Bugis, Javanese etc. etc. and we all know that the Kelantanese used to treat the other Melayu, that is the Menang, Javanese, the Bugis etc. as foreigners.

Well for that matter, even Mahathir Mohammed was registered as Indian in King Edwards College where he studied medicine.

The Malay therefore very much like the Indians, and later the Chinese are Melayu in the very true sense of the word because they all left their respective countries to come to this location in South East Asia called Malaysia today.

The real natives of the country are the Orang Laut, the Jakun, the Kadazaan, the Iban, the Senoi and the rest, and not the so called Orang Melayu, because these people are actually Javanese, Achinese, Bugis, people from the Mollucas islands, and other parts of neighbouring Indonesia, including those from Cambodia and even China (Yunanese). That explains the word Melayu in various parts of Sumatra too.

The Javanese people in particular were referred to as Java Kontra a term they despised and today in Sumatra they are referred to as Orang Transmigrasi which is more acceptable to the Javanese in Indonesia then the term Melayu.

For Malay citizenship and for permanent residence reasons, the Orang Java, be they Sundanese, Orang Java Barat, Orang Java Tengah or Orang Java Timor, or any other Indonesian for that matter recognises the fact that the day he becomes a Malaysian citizen, he is now an Orang Melayu that is a new word coined by Malaysians of these origins to legitimise their Bumiputraism.

And to become Bumiputra this way, that is by becoming a Melayu, he has to profess the Islamic faith. This privilege is not extended to Dayaks, from Kalimantan, or Christian Filipinos, or for that matter Christians from among the peoples of Sumatra, Java or any other Indonesian Islands.

The irony of all this is the fact that if you look at the real Orang Asli of Malaysia as a whole you'll find out that the majority of them are not from the Islamic faith, and that is one of the reasons why in Sabah the registration department of the Federal Government legitimised and gave citizenship and permanent residence status to hundreds and thousands of illegal Fillipina immigrants from the Southern part of the Philippines.

I therefore disagree with your attempt to legitimize the term Orang Melayu as a race, it is not and never will be. The so-called Melayu must own up to their own heritage the way the Chinese and Indians in Malaysia proudly do.

And if we are to use this word called Melayu, it should be a term used to refer to all Malaysians except the ethnic Malaysians who are orang Asli.

The term Bumiputera was coined and the Malay placed in that category to legitimize the fact that he is ethnic when he is not.

It is a shame, and in fact a disgrace that they are the only group of people who by this very act, show the world that they are ashamed of their own heritage.

And who else can be so? Only those who run away or are banished from their own lands, for it is only such people who are ashamed of their own heritage.

Even the customs, the traditions, the dressings, the architecture etc. point to the fact that the so called Orang Melayu of Peninsular Malaysia are actually not one and the same people.

Scroll below and read the next article by Syed Imran a Melayu and an ex Bernama Journalist from Penang.

Some time ago I wrote about the Melayu and the origins of the name Melayu, which means runaway.

Today another "Melayu has written" totally unconnected this man, yes he is a man he stands up for the truth has written a similar article.

Syed Imran, an Arab-Malaysian born in Penang, Malaysia, an ex-Bernama journalist (1971-1998) and former press secretary to the Minister in PM's Department, posted a great blog days ago, which was translated into English.

Please circulate it and let all Malaysians understand the facts.

Antara Pendatang dan Penumpang (English Translation)

To begin with, I was quite reluctant to comment on the mess created by the statement made by Ahmad bin Ismail, the head of the Bukit Bendera, Pulau Pinang UMNO Division.. Whether he made the statement in reference to Chinese Malaysians is no longer the question, as the issue has spread and has been hotly debated.

If it is not handled carefully and smartly, this issue could make clear water murky, giving opportunity to parties who are keen on seeing this country crash, not to mention falling into the hands of foreigners. In today's borderless world, international electronic media coverage makes it difficult for any country to hide or deny any given event.

The main issue brought up by Ahmad Ismail revolves around the question of "squatters", that is, that Chinese Malaysians are squatters in this country. He explained that he was referring to pre-independence days. However, it had hurt the sensitivity of the Chinese Malaysian community.

I don't know Ahmad Ismail personally, but I was quite close to his late elder brother, Abdul Rahim Ismail, the owner of Rahim Construction Company that was once famous as an "Earth-Prince" (Bumiputra) construction firm in Pulau Pinang. I don't know what has happened to the company after Abdul Rahim passed away.

Personally, I don't agree with what Ahmad Ismail said for the following reasons.

To me, nearly 90 percent of Malaysians, especially those in the Peninsula, are immigrants, and all of us are actually squatters in the land of Allah anyways. We are anything but permanent owners, we are merely squatters.

For example, I come from a family that squatted in this blessed land. My paternal grandfather and grandmother migrated from Mecca and Brunei, while my maternal grandmother came from Hadramut, Yaman. We are immigrants and squatters, as are almost everyone else in this country.

As for Ahmad Ismail, he is also an immigrant having descended from an immigrant's family who squatted in this country. Ahmad Ismail cannot deny the fact that his grandfather and grandmother moved from India to this country in search of a better life in this blessed land.

It is also the case with Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi whose maternal grandfather hailed from Guangdong in southern China. In short, Pak Lah's grandfather, Allahyarhamah Kailan, whose name was Hasson Salleh or Hah Su Chiang, was an immigrant. He moved to Tanah Melayu from Guangdong in the mid-19th century. He stayed in Bayan Lepas as a rubber estate worker, a padi farmer and later became a diamond trader.

Najib Tun Razak, Deputy Prime Minister, is also a descendant of an immigrant Bugis family that came from Sulawesi, Indonesia. Hishammudin Hussein cannot escape the fact that there is Turkish blood running through his veins.

The Malacca Malay Sultanate was founded by an immigrant coming from Sumatra -- Parameswara, a prince who practised Hinduism.

A reading of the history of Malay Sultanates would reveal that some of them were founded by Bugis immigrants, while others were of Hadramut and Minangkabau parentage.

Almost all Malays living in this country are from outside Tanah Melayu, but are defined as "Malay Race" by the Federal Constitution. We are "Malay" in definition by the Constitution, that is, we are Muslims; we practise Malay customs and speak the Malay language. Unfortunately, the Malay language itself seems to have been killed by the Malays in UMNO when they named it the Malaysian language (Bahasa Malaysia).

Therefore, Arabs like Syed Hamid Albar and myself, Achehs like Sanusi Junid, Indians like Kader Sheikh Fadzir and Nor Mohamed Yakcop, Bugises like Najib, Minangs like Rais Yatim, Jawas like Mohamad Rahmat, and others from Madura, Pulau Buyan, Siam, Myanmar, Yunnan (China) and the Philippines are conveniently categorized as Malays.

They are accepted as Malays regardless of whether they speak Malay or otherwise at home like those of us who speak Arabic, the Jawas that speak Jawa, the Minangs that speak Minang, or the Mamak that speak Tamil..

These languages are anything but Malay if we look at it from the perspective of the Federal Constitution, so they should never have been declared Malays. But for the sake of political correctness, all of them are accepted as Malays and "Earth Princes" (bumiputra).

It is grossly unfair to point to the Chinese as immigrants when the Arabs, Indians, Achehs, Minangs, Bataks, Mandailings, Jawas, Maduras, and Bugises are immigrants no less in this country. We cannot deny the fact that most of the Chinese's grandfathers and grandmothers migrated to this country in the days of the Malacca Malay Sultanante, some of whom did so during the period of Kedah Sultanate, Terengganu Sultanate and Kelantan Sultanate respectively. After Francis Light wrested Penang from the hands of the sultan of Kedah in 1786, more Chinese had arrived here.

We are all immigrants squatting in this country. Only the Negrito, Jekun, Semang, Jahut, Orang Laut, Orang Darat, Senoi, and other indigenous people groups (like the Kadazandusuns, ibans and bidayuhs) can be correctly considered the original inhabitants of this country.

We must never forget the contributions and sacrifices made by all the races in building our nation in all its aspects, including the economy, social structure, national defense and, most importantly, national unity. We are all taxpayers whether or not we are descended from immigrants or squatters.

This came from the anthropological team from one of the Aussie universities.

In June 1998, the government of Malaysia had hired a team of experts from all over the world to be gathered here in Malaysia for a research project to compliment the history studies that we undertook in our secondary school.

The objective of the research is simply:

1. To find proof and evidence that show the Malays were the origins of Malaysia and they were the first race and religion that landed their feet in Malaysia .

2. To further strengthen their claims, first they need to find the graveyard of the Hang Tuah, Hang Jebat, Hang Lekiu and others.. to show the existence of their pioneers.

3. The Batu Bersurat in Terengganu, reveals that the islamic religion has landed in Malaysia for more than a hundred years ago which further strengthen their claims!

BEWARE & OPEN YOUR EYES!!! Go and ask your brother, sister, niece, nephew etc. Since the year 1999 (if i'm not mistaken) or year 2000, do they study about HANG TUAH anymore?

Why is that popular subject GONE? Missing in action? or evidence reveals something else that caused the government to stop the syllabus and HIDE the TRUTH?

Here are the Evidences of the findings by the team of scientists, archaeologist, historian and other technical staff from the United States , United Kingdom , Germany , Canada , Yemen & Russia .

The evidence are:

1) They finally found the graveyard of Hang Tuah, Hang Jebat and others, their skeletons had been analized and samples of DNA taken with the results showing: Hang Tuah, Hang Jebat, Hang Lekiu and mates were NOT MALAY!!! They were CHINESE origins (islamic) from China !!! Why were they here in Malacca? If you go back in history, you would know that they were on a mission to protect the UNGRATEFUL MALAY Sultanate from the frequent attacks by the Kingdom of SIAM ( Thailand ).

So Hang Tuah was not a Malay hero! They were the protectors of the useless and ungrateful Parameswara (who was from INDONESIA ) who landed in Malacca and claimed that the land belonged to him!

Hang Tuah and friends were all from China , they were being assigned to the Malacca Sultanate because Parameswara requested the Ming Dynasty Emperor for protection! Hence, the rich historical heritage of the Babas & Nyonyas were being closely linked to the Seven Voyages to the Western Ocean by Admiral Zheng He who incidentally was a Chinese Muslim himself!

That's why the Hang Tuah series of history is MISSING from the Malaysian SEJARAH today!

Note : Remember Princess Hang Li Poh ? - All surname 'HANG'

Second Evidence:

The researchers hired by the government found the oldest tombstones (graveyard) in Kelantan in year 2000. Suprisingly, the tombstones were at least 900 years old! Older than the so-called Batu Bersurat. The interesting thing was that they all belonged to the CHINESE!

Being landed first in Malacca doesn't mean Malay is the first in Malaysia because during that time, the road was too long or undeveloped for them to reach or see the other side of the coast where the Chinese had landed much earlier. If you want the hard evidence of what the truth of the Research reveals, please write to The Federal Association of Archaeology & Research of Michigan , USA .

This is a good reason to remind the Bumiputras NOT to ask the Chinese or Indians to go back to their Motherlands because the evidence had shown that Malays were NOT the original people of Malaysia ! The Truth Revealed (with evidence) and anthropologists have yet to ascertain if there was indeed a Malay race!

World Famous Malaysians.

How many world famous Malaysians do you know? How well do you know about them? Well, it is time to recognise the Malaysians who have carried our name far and wide. Just to name a few - from a woman who took on James Bond to a man who became the first Malaysian to travel in space. Source : MSN Entertainment.

Dato’ Michelle Yeoh is arguably Malaysia’s biggest and most successful movie export. She first gained stardom appearing alongside international action star Jackie Chan, in the highly-acclaimed 1992 film The Police Story 3. In fact, the tough-as-nut Dato’ Michelle is only one of a handful of female stars whom Jackie lets do her own stunts.

Since that stint, she has appeared in several big-budget Hong Kong and Hollywood films, notably Ang Lee's Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, The Mummy 3, Memoirs of a Geisha and Babylon A.D., just to name a few. Another notable highlight of Dato’ Michelle’s movie career was playing a Bond girl alongside Pierce Brosnan, in Tomorrow Never Dies.

From the provocative to the poignant, her roles have broken many barriers for Asian actresses in Hong Kong and Hollywood. A great lady of the screen who has made it easier for Malaysian-born talent to dream.

Dato’ Jimmy Choo has become such a towering figure in the world of luxury footwear that the mere mention of ‘Choos’ incites gleeful looks from women the world over.

Born in Penang the son of a shoemaker, Choo crafted his first pair when he was only 11 years old. He graduated from the London College of Fashion in 1983 and opened his own shoe shop in Hackney three years later. He quickly became known for his fabulous designs.

By the time British Vogue came knocking at his door in 1988, Choo had already honed his craft. The fashion mag gave the designer an 8 page spread, prominently featuring Choo's collection. Everyone suddenly wanted a pair of Jimmy Choos: fashionistas, celebrities and even royalty. The Queen of Denmark is a loyal client of his and so was the late Princess Diana.

Although Choo sold his 50% stake in the eponymous brand by 2001, it had already made a mint and turned him into a household name by that time. He is still probably the most talked about Malaysian out there and we're huge fans of Uncle Jimmy and his ‘Choos’.

You might not know this face or the name to which it belongs, but Ling Tan has made a big splash in the international modelling world. She has one of the most sought after Asian faces in fashion

Ling was discovered first in a small fashion show, and a Tiger Beer commercial gave her some success in Malaysia. After just a year of modelling on home ground, she went to New York where she was snapped up by one of the most influential modelling agencies in the world, IMG.

Since then Ling has worked with the world’s top designers including Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gaultier, Valentino and Donna Karan. She has been photographed by giants like Mario Testino (for a Gucci campaign), Patrick Demarchlier and Richard Avedon.

Ling has also appeared in every major fashion magazine you can think of, from Vogue to Elle. She even popped up in an episode of “Sex and the City” as herself and was featured in a George Michael music video for the track “Fast Love”.

Tyra may ask her girls if they, "Wanna be on top?" But none of even Banks' recruits have achieved the level of success Ling has in high-fashion. Meet the world's new top model!

Malaysia’s most well-loved supermodel, Amber Chia, began her modelling career at the age of 17. The modest-but-gorgeous Amber gained international stardom after she won the 2004 Guess Watches Timeless Beauty Contest – a global model search for a Guess Watch brand ambassador. Amber made Malaysia proud by becoming the first Asian model to win a top global, professional modelling contest.

The win kick-started Amber’s blossoming career. She was named Model of the Year by the Malaysian International Fashion Awards in 2004 and 2005. She became the ambassador for brands like Sony and L’Oreal, starred in several local and regional movies and she also created Malaysia's first modelling reality show "I Wanna Be A Model". Do we see a Malaysian Tyra Banks in the making?

Malaysia’s premier diva has been steadily conquering the international market over the past 20 years and continues to do so. She was one of the first Malaysian recording artists to break the Indonesian market and she even won the Indonesian BASF award for Best Female Artist in 1986, which was never before won by a non-Indonesian. Majid also has a wide following in Japan and remains the first and only Malaysian artist to successfully infiltrate the Japanese market.

Dubbed Malaysia's Queen of Jazz, Majid has collaborated with some of the world’s best musicians, including American bassist Nathan East and Japanese violinist Aska Kaneko. In 1996, Majid performed a sold out show at the Royalty Theatre in London’s West End. She later returned to London that same year to perform at the jazz Mecca of music, Ronnie Scott’s. In recent years, Sheila Majid has continued to be one of the most notable Malaysian names in music.

While we think Sheila leans more to pop than jazz, there's no denying the beauty in her phrasing and the way her instrument moves with ease around a melody. She is, indeed, a national treasure.

If someone were to ask who Malaysia’s biggest pop singer is, only one name would come to mind: Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza. Dato’ Siti started out as a talented youngster who caught the attention of the public when she won the 1995 RTM Juara Bintang competition at the tender age of 16.

She got her first international accolade when she won the ‘Gold Award’ in the 1999 Shanghai Music Festival. That same year she won the South Pacific International Song and Singing Competition. In 2004, the much-loved songstress made history when she became the first non-Chinese entertainer invited to perform at the 15th Golden Melody Awards in Taiwan, singing a duet with Wang Lee-hom.

Aside from being a Malaysian artist with one of the biggest followings in Indonesia, in 2005, Dato’ Siti held a successful solo concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London, with the British media dubbing her ‘Asia’s Celine Dion’.

Malaysia continues their love affair with the pop diva as she plans to release another album, later this year. We look forward to more from Dato' Siti Nurhaliza.

Nicholas Teo is making us proud 2,000 miles away from home. Teo was only 21 when he won the Astro Talent Quest in 2002. He got his recording career off the ground with First Album in 2004. Thanks to his vocal skills and boyish charm, the album sold more than 30,000 copies in Taiwan alone within a month of its release – a feat that could rival some of Taiwan’s biggest pop stars.

Due to his rising popularity, Nicholas was roped in to star in the highly-rated Taiwanese drama “Smiling Pasta” – a move that put him on the map internationally. He has become Malaysia’s biggest export in the Chinese entertainment market, going further than any local pop star has in the past. And to think it all started on Wah Lai Toi.

Nicol David is presently one of Malaysia’s hottest sports properties. Perhaps, she is hotter than the hottest real estate property around the nationhood. While most Malaysians will have to take a really good look before becoming a professional sports person, Nicol shows them how she did it, and why they should do it too.

Now a professional squash player, Nicol David is a definite role model for Malaysian and other youngsters around the globe. She trains under a former world number 2, Liz Irving in Amsterdam, Holland. Her desire to succeed has taken her to a territory where other Malaysians consider impossibility. She is also a living legend who proves that you can be exceptional in both sports and education fields. Malaysia Boleh!

For a boy who preferred playing basketball in his youth, Dato' Lee Chong Wei has since come a long way for both badminton and Malaysia. Born in George Town, Penang, Chong Wei had developed an early love for sports - playing basketball. He eventually quit the game at the request of his mother, whom disapproved of him playing in outdoor courts amidst sweltering afternoon heats. His passion for sports never faltered during this time and he soon found a game that could satisfy both him and his mother. At the age of 11, with the encouragement of his father, Lee Chong Wei discovered badminton. A true sports talent, Chong Wei immediately picked up the game and spent hours training after school in order to excel.

The trainings after school brought out the best in Chong Wei and at the age of 17, he was spotted by Misbun Sidek and drafted into the Malaysian national badminton squad. It was with training that Lee Chong Wei pushed himself to be a top notch player, undergoing gruelling daily training sessions. These sessions included rigorous fitness regimes and multiple sparring with up to three opponents on court simultaneously.

Unbeatable within Malaysian territory for 3 years (2004-2006), Lee Chong Wei bagged his first 5-star event in the Danish open in 2005. His track record consists of a slew of wins including 5 Super Series titles.

Numerous titles and an Olympic silver later, Lee Chong Wei is now loved as one of Malaysia抯 most recognisable and successful athletes. His great efforts in the 2008 Olympics have resulted in him being conferred with a 'Darjah Setia Pangkuan Negeri (DSPN)', which carries the title Datuk. He is also currently the world number one singles player and is set to win the upcoming 2008 BWF Super Series Masters Finals held on home soil in December.

Even with all his wins and titles, Dato' Lee Chong Wei still remains modest and humble, epitomising the ultimate Malaysian role model.

This Malaysian didn’t just make it on the international front. His achievements took him out of this world. Literally! He is the first Malaysian man to make it into space. Not only that, he was the first Muslim to have observed Ramadhan in space as well as celebrate Eid out of the earth’s atmosphere.

On October 10th, 2007, Datuk Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar, an orthopaedic surgeon by profession, blasted off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan for a voyage to the International Space Station with two other astronauts from Russia and the USA. He spent nine days in the space station where he conducted a series of scientific experiments. While he was in space, Datuk Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar celebrated Hari Raya in true blue Malaysian fashion, by sharing satay and Raya cookies with his fellow astronauts.

As far as famous Malaysians go, it'll be hard to top that. Datuk, you did us proud!

Sexual Orientation.

I came across two videos at youtube which I found quite interesting and decided to post it here. It is about the science of sexual orientation. In these videos, you will learn about the factors that affect a person's sexual orientation - heterosexual or homosexual. If you find the videos are offensive to you, kindly press Alt + F4 immediately. LOL.

In the future, will the homosexual people able to walk talk in the society if studies and research can prove that they are not meant to be like that? Will the people with strong religious and political views will change their perspective after hearing all this information? Well, these are the burning questions that depend on how an individual justify it.

Anyway, does this matter to you? =)
