Epi 5: Happy Chinese New Year!

Gong Xi Fatt Chai!! Where is my angpau folks? Just kidding. During the first day of chinese new year, most of my family members did not sleep because they wanted to stay up late and gamble. According to the Chinese Zodiac, Ox year was a bad year for people whose zodiac were goat. I was born in the year of goat and unfortunately, I was chosen by my family members to become the banker, again. I really couldn't help it since I won plenty of their money for the past few chinese new years. They wanted to "revenge" and get back the money. Haha. Well, I had no luck this time but money to lose. It was painful but I would take it easy since we only gamble once a year. At 9 a.m. in the morning, we went to Tian Hou Temple for prayers. Our sleepless eyes were very heavy, Zzzz. In the temple, I was surprised when a foreigner from UK said hello to me. Maybe I looked very friendly to him. XD After our visit to the temple, we went to Starbuck to get ourself awake with the coffee. Hey, I really need "hibernation" right now. Adios. By the way, Happy Chinese New Year and wish you guys all the best in your future endeavours!

Epi 4: Streamyx ruined my day?

I could not use my streamyx yesterday! It was so frustrating. I am a online addict. If I do not use Internet even for one day, I will become very desperate and have the feeling of dying. I grabbed my house phone immediately and dialled 100 - the Telecom customer service. I told the person in charge there was something wrong with the Local Area Connection (LAN) and the modem light was not stable. After some verifications for my account information, he taught me how to configure the options and reset the IP address. But in the end, the problem was not resolved. I paused momentarily to look at the computer screen, and sighed. Well, maybe it was a sign to take a break from being online addict. I spent my time doing the house chores and made some cookies for Chinese New Year. The cookies looked ugly but the taste were fantastic. Come my house and have a bite at them if you do not believe. XD I spent the rest of the day with my portable PlayStation.

The bad-looking but delicious cookies. :P

Epi 3: Awesome Movie - Ip Man

Yesterday night I went for a movie with Jeremy and his brother, Nicholas in Midvalley. I hardly went out for a movie at night but since Jeremy told me he got free movie tickets for four people, so I decided to go. Them Hong supposed to go with us for the movie but he couldn't make it because he had went back to Perak with his grandmother. I remembered watching the last movie, Lady Cop and Papa Crook. One word to describe it - sucks. The movie we had decided to watch was Ip Man. This movie was a Hong Kong martial arts semi-biopic based on the life of Ip Man. He was the martial art master of Bruce Lee and the first to teach Wing Chun style of Kung Fu publicly. I was hoping this movie would be much more better than Lady Cop and Papa Crook. Well, it did not disappoint me at all. The movie was starred by my favorite martial art master, Donnie Yen. He was awesome in all his Kung Fu moves! The other actor/actress in this movie were Simon Yam, Lam Ka-Tung, Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, Xing Yu etc. The movie started at 9.45 p.m. and finished at around 11.00 p.m. Nicholas sent me home and I called it a day.

Epi 2: I hate manual cars.

Driving was a spectacular form of amnesia. I never thought driving manual cars was so difficult! I have learnt driving manual cars for about six hours and I still could not get used to controlling the pedals and the handbrake. It was a gruelling morning. I was unable to concentrate on driving today. Lack of sleep I guess. I slept at 1.00 a.m. last night and I found it difficult to wake up at 7.30 a.m. The driving instructor came my house at about 8.10 a.m. I was asked to drive myself to Taman Yarl. People who were born with a silver spoon in their mouth stayed there. Luxury houses and extravagance cars. o.o After driving about an hour, the instructor asked me to park at the roadside and we rest for about 5 minutes. He said the way I drove was perilous because I was driving too close with the stationary objects on the roadside. My instructor was long-winded, though. He did not scold me but what he said was grating on my ears. I reached home at 10 a.m. Phew ... another driving lesson was over. I learnt how to drive on the slope, control the clutch, the brake and the accelerator proficiently but above all, I learnt the importance of driving safely and being vigilant on the road. Well, my eyelids are heavy now, got to find Duke of God. ZzZzz

Epi 1: Getting off with a good start

As Confucius said, "A journey of thousand miles begins with a single step." I guess that is how I will start my blog - right now. An introduction is necessary though. Well, my name is Jeffrey Wong Chee Wei. My friends usually call me Japanese Taiko or better known as YAKUZA because of my family background. I am a 18-years-old student who is currently waiting for SPM results. Due to extreme boredom while waiting for results, my desire to start a blog is aroused. Before this, i always think that blogging is some kind of girlish and emotional stuff to do. I realise it is not true when I have learnt lots of things after reading my friends' blog. Well, hope I can get this off with a good start as I don't want to become a couch potato and face the computer screen for 24/7. I rather write something in this blog than being idle for these few months. You might ask, "why don't you get a job and earn some income for Chinese New Year?" Well, I have applied a job as tutor in a tuition centre but the official interview will only be conducted after the Chinese New Year, I guess. Moreover, I have to get my P license in these few weeks. Speaking of driving, Urgh !! I have to tell you I really hate driving manual cars. But no choice. I have to get used to it before taking the license test.
