The 'Dong Zhi' (冬至) Festival or Winter Solstice Festival is celebrated on 22 December every year. It is one of the most important festivals celebrated by Chinese around the world during the Dong Zhi solar term when the sunshine is the weakest and the daylight is the shortest.
Tang Yuan is a Chinese food that is traditionally eaten during this Festival. It is made from glutinous rice flour. The flour is mixed with a small amount of water to form balls and it is cooked in boiling water. Eating tang yuan with family signify unity and harmony within the family.
I had my tang yuan as breakfast this morning. My mum boiled the tang yuan in sweet soup made from palm sugar. Sweet and delicious. My mum told me that I am one year older and must be an obedient boy! Haha.

Just reached home at 11pm. It was a weary day but I had a enjoyable trip.
The tour bus picked us up at the petrol station which is near our house. We started the day off with breakfast in Sri Petaling. The 'Kai Wo Pao' (Chicken Nest Bun) was the featured food in the area. After that, we were off to the first destination of the day - Nirvana Memorial Park.
The place was magnificent and the scenery there was simply breathtaking. There were some lands still under development though. If you plan to memorialise your loved ones, I will recommend you to get the product and service from Nirvana. The price is actually quite reasonable but it will be expected to rise in the future.
You can actually buy one 'slot' for yourself even when you are still alive. Well, you don't have to say something like 'touchwood' because death is unpredictable and it is a life process that everyone must go through. So make a choice of where you want to stay (after death) before it is too late. =P
After we had our lunch there, we departed for Malacca. We visited many places there such as Dutch Square, Jonker Street, Cheng Yun Tin Temple, Pearl Shoe Shop, San Shu Gong and etc. After dinner, we went for Malacca river cruise before heading back to Kuala Lumpur.

If you are keen in reading newspapers or an active Facebook user, I'm sure you have noticed about the suicidal of Alviss Kong, who has jumped off from the 14th floor of his house after he has posted his 'will' on the Facebook. This act has become a trend as there are few teenagers has started to follow the footstep of Alviss by counting down for their suicidal in the website.
Suicidal is a stupid act and thus I advise all of you do not ever suicide for anything. Don't even think about it. Besides love, there are other things that are more important in your life - family, friends, education and work. It's not easy for us to have come into this world. Always remember that our parents have suffered or worked so hard to raise us until what we are today.
There is always a price to pay for suicidal. Ending your life in this way does not mean you can end all the problems that you face in this world. Suicidal means one has not repaid the obligation of parents, teachers, country and society. Therefore, this act will lead one to hell and you will suffer the pain of repeating the suicidal twice a day, until the day that you actually die!
I'm not joking, but it's up to you whether you wanna believe it or not.
People out there, especially the Facebook users, you know that Facebook is one of the most influential websites in the world. Whatever you share or post will affect the behavior and thinking of others. Stop liking and sharing those pages or links that are related to suicidal. Pay your respect to the deceased and always remind yourself this thing must NOT happen on you!
To those who thought suicidal is a heroic act and wanted to declare the suicidal of Alviss Kong as public holiday, I really have no comment. It is a waste of time for me to think about what is inside your brains.
