2010 is coming.

The new year 2010 is coming in about four days! I hope all of you have enjoyed yourself while celebrating the Christmas. Let us welcome the year 2010 and don't forget our goodbyes to the year 2009!

To the year 2009,

We know that you are going to leave us soon, and we have no choice but to move on with our lives. Whatever we have done in the past will become unforgettable memories in our hearts. Although we still have about four days to live together, but we should appreciate the remaining days together before saying goodbye. After the parting, we will never forget that you have once appeared in our lives! Farewell 2009.

To the year 2010,

We are going to meet in about four more days, really look forward to welcoming you. We can't wait to know what kind of surprise that you will give us when we meet. Will you give us more challenges? Will you give us more happiness or sadness? Will you be an easy stuff to deal with? Will you .......... There are lots of questions are running in our minds, but no matter what happen in the future, we should live well together. A pleasure to meet you, 2010! ^^

Once again, wish everyone Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Cheers. =)

Shop Until We Drop.

Today I wake up at 8 o'clock in the morning even though today is my off day. I have waited this day for so long and I definitely will not want to miss the spending spree. J Card Members' Day is held at the JUSCO Midvalley today.

On this special day, JUSCO will open at 9 o'clock in the morning. My family and I just reached on time and we managed to get a nice parking. We are all excited and in a mood for bargain hunting.

Sea of faces can be seen upon entering the JUSCO. Everyone is ready for spending spree of the day. Firstly, I went to the Men's Department to get some clothes including jeans, short pants, slack, T-shirts and UNDERWEAR. XD My mum and my sister went to the Ladies' and Kids' Department as well.

All items are discounted range from 10% to 70% except for the new arrivals. While I was 'ransacking' the items that I wanted to buy, I bumped into some of my secondary school's friends and college friends as well.

My family and I spent about three hours at the departments. We ended up in a long queue at the cashier counter and we spent roughly about RM600 on clothes. After that, we went to the supermarket to get some food for lunch and dinner.

After we redeemed some JUSCO vouchers, we were on our way back home. If you do not wanna miss the spending spree of the year, tomorrow is the last day and you can make your way to JUSCO Midvalley.

Shop until you drop for once in a while! =)

God's Dealing.

Thanks to Uvaraj for sharing this story :

A man was riding his Harley along a California beach when suddenly the sky clouded above his head... In a booming voice, the Lord said, "Because you have tried to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one wish."

The biker pulled over and said, "Build a bridge to Hawaii so I can ride over anytime I want."

The Lord said, "Your request is so materialistic. Think of the enormous challenges for that kind of undertaking; the supports required to reach the bottom of the Pacific and the concrete and steel it would take! I don't condone your desire for worldly things. Take a little more time and think of something that could possibly help mankind."

The biker thought about it for a long time... Finally, he said, "Lord, I wish that I, and all men, could understand our wives; I want to know what she feels, what she's thinking, why she cries, what she means when she says nothing's wrong, and how I can make a woman truly happy."

The Lord replied, "You want two lanes on that bridge or four ?"

Meghan and Cheyne.

Meghan and Cheyne won a one million US dollar for The Amazing Race Season 15! A big congratulation to them. They are my favorite team especially Meghan because she is the most competitive woman racer that I have ever seen so far. She does not only have outer beauty, but she has brains and brawns too. What I can say is Cheyne is a lucky man and if not because of Meghan, the team would not have won the race.

For your information, they are a dating couple and I heard they plan to get marry after the race. Wish them a life of marital bliss. ^^

I wished I could join The Amazing Race one day. Asia version also can LAR, as long as I get to travel around the world and join the race with someone I trust and is reliable. The prize money is not important but the invaluable experiences that matters. =)

Have a good night everyone.

Tai Sui.

Sorry for deserting my blog for quite some time, even it is holiday now. For your information, I am back to Himawari for part-time job. The boss requested me to work almost everyday and today is my off day. Anyway, another objective during the holiday is achieved - I got a part-time job. Two down, FIVE to go. =)

For those who do not know, Himawari is a Japanese restaurant which is located inside the Kuala Lumpur Japan Club, Seputeh and it is just a throwing stone distance from Midvalley Megamall. I am glad to meet the colleagues again as they are really friendly people.

This morning, my mum accompanied me go to the temple near Petaling Street for a prayer session. The purpose of the prayer is to worship the Lord of Tai Sui, as my Chinese Zodiac (Goat) has offended the Tai Sui this year, the Year of Ox. I had signed up for the Tai Sui Blessing Ceremony during the Lunar New Year period, and now it is the time to show my gratitude to the Lord of Tai Sui through the Thanks-giving Ritual.

Tai Sui (太岁) refers to stars directly opposite to Jupiter, also known as the God of Health, Prosperity and Luck. They influence the Chinese Zodiac, and are also a theory in religious Taoism and Feng Shui.

In the Chinese zodiac, there are sixty heavenly generals who assist the Jade Emperor in taking charge of the well-being of the Mortal World. Each of them takes turn to be in charge for a year. Due to most of them having a military background, they are normally known as the Military Generals, or as the Cycle Gods. Each of their features and weapons signifies the well-being of that year. For example, if the Tai Sui of the year is one who holds a pen, it signifies political unrest for that particular year. On the other hand, if the Tai Sui of the year holds a spear or sword it signifies the need to work hard and excel for that year.

Those whose Chinese Zodiac is offended, or by their sign conflict or clashes with the Tai Sui of the year are advised to go through a prayer session in a temple with a Spiritual Master to ask for blessing in obtaining Peace and Good Fortune throughout the year.

I going to work tomorrow. Good night. ZzzZzz.
