Epi 22: Over You.

<I'm deeply in love with this song. I always get emotional when I listen to this song. The lyrics are simple yet so meaningful. I have posted it in my blog and hope you guys will enjoy it.

Chris Daughtry - Over You

Now that it's all said and done
I can't believe you were the one
To build me up and tear me down
Like an old abandoned house
What you said when you left
Just left me cold and out of breath
I fell too far, was in way too deep
Guess I let you get the best of me

Well, I never saw it coming
I should've started running
A long, long time ago
And I never thought I'd doubt you
I'm better off without you
More than you, more than you know
I'm slowly getting closure
I guess it's really over
I'm finally getting better
And now I'm picking up the pieces
I'm spending all of these years
Putting my heart back together
Cause the day I thought I'd never get through
I got over you

You took a hammer to these walls
Dragged the memories down the hall
Packed your bags and walked away
There was nothing I could say
And when you slammed the front door shut
A lot of others opened up
So did my eyes so I could see
That you never were the best for me

Well, I never saw it coming
I should've started running
A long, long time ago
And I never thought I'd doubt you
I'm better off without you
More than you, more than you know
I'm slowly getting closure
I guess it's really over
I'm finally getting better
And now I'm picking up the pieces
I'm spending all of these years
Putting my heart back together
Cause the day I thought I'd never get through
I got over you

Epi 21: Vote Earth.

From deforestation to global warming, the world's environment is in rough shape. Without substantial disagreement, scientists find human activities are heating our planet. Tackling global warming will be the greatest environmental challenge, but it is possible if almost every nation on Earth participates. Do you wanna make a difference?

This year, Earth Hour has been transformed into the world's first global election, between the Earth and global warming. On March 28, you can VOTE EARTH by switching off your lights for one hour (8.30pm to 9.30pm), or you can vote global warming by leaving the lights on.

IT IS REALLY UP TO YOU.

Each of us have a vote, and every vote counts. If you want to make a difference, you will know what is the right thing to do. We want at least one billion votes for Earth, to tell the world leaders and every nation on Earth that we have to take action against global warming.

After casting the vote, what are you going to do? Well, if you cannot imagine how will you last an hour without using electricity, here are 10 things you can do to spend the Earth Hour.

1. Play your musical instruments like guitar.

2. Don't forget fitness. Exercise.

3. Tell ghost stories.

4. Take a COLD shower!

5. Candlelight dinner with your loved ones.

6. Treasure hunt in the dark.

7. Debate whether one hour can trigger social change.

8. Bring your pet for a walk.

9. Play MAFIA. (For those who know the game)

10. Knock on your neighbours' door and ask them to switch off the lights, if you have lots of nerve. =P

Epi 20: TAR College.

I told you I am a very indecisive person, did I? =D

For the past few months, I have been thinking what will be the best pathway to continue my studies. Form Six? A-level? Foundation? Diploma? Maybe try to apply scholarships or study loan? Urgh. I really hope someone can make up my mind. Choosing the best study pathway is as hard as choosing a good wife. LOL

Suggestion and advice have already given by acquaintances and I'd like to express my heartiest gratitude to them. Well, I have finally decided to study A-level in TAR college. Once I got the offer letter, most probably I will rent a room near TAR college.

I AM ON MY OWN. I'm going to experience a more independent life and get use to a new study environment. I wish myself all the best! By the way, thanks to Yit Nian for accompanying me to TAR college. =D

Epi 19: Jogoya.

Suppose to work on Sunday. Since I was invited by Pui Yan to go for buffet lunch in my favorite restaurant - Jogoya, I decided to take leave on that day. You would never know how much I love eating, especially expensive stuff. I would do anything just to satisfy my taste bud and stomach. LOL

Meet up with Jennifer, Pui Yan and John upon reaching Jogoya. I was kinda surprised when I saw Pui Yan arrived early. She was known as the LATE QUEEN. She smiled and said, "I'm the organiser MAH!" Well, if she is not the organiser next time, I suggest you don't hang out with her or you will need lots of patience. I'm so BAD. XD

Four of us decided to go in first while waiting for the rest. Yu Shaun and Kah Hoong arrived at the same time, followed by Jason and Hui Chi. We started our buffet lunch from 11am to 2pm. After that, we went to Pavilion which is a throwing stone from Starhill and we decided to watch Dragonball Evolution.

The movie sucks and I wanted my RM12 back! T.T Everyone was on their way home except Kah Hoong, Pui Yan and I. We went to Times Square and spent our time in shops and arcade centre. At around 7pm, we went home by LRT.

The early birds. John, Pui Yan, Me and Jennifer.

John and I were going to take the whole bucket of the coconuts. LOL

The guys. Me, Shaun, Kah Hoong, Jason and John.

The girls. Pui Yan, Jennifer and Hui Chi. Another two girls were missing in action as they have forgot the buffet lunch was today. SWT

Believe it or not. I finished ALL of them. XD The coconuts are unbelievably sweet.

The organiser and I.

I afraid of coconuts now. Thanks to Jogoya. LOL

A RETARDED circle made by the coconuts. Thanks to Pui Yan for holding the coconut improperly. =.=

Group photo.

In the entertainment centre. Sorry to say, we are still kids. LOL

On our way to LRT station.

Epi 18: Straight As.

SPM results are finally released. Phew. Eight A1s, Four A2s. Kinda dissapointed with the subjects that I got A2. They are Malay Language, History, Moral Education and Physics. But straight As is still worth for celebration right? Well, I will explode in loud cries of joy and said, "I GOT STRAIGHT As, BABY!!!" XD

Upon reaching the school, I was glad to meet my old friends again. We just could not stop ourself from babbling even the announcements are made in the hall. When the teacher-in-charge started to call upon the straight As students to go up the stage, everyone was quiet. Face expressions changed and all of us could feel our heart beats, "Dup Dup, Dup Dup, Dup Dup...." The moment has arrived.

We were informed that 24 students from our school got straight As. When I saw half of them had went up the stage, I started to worry and my heart was trembling. "God, where is my name?" I thought. While the sweats rolling down on my cheek, my name was finally called. I sighed. But I had the feeling that I could not describe!

Hang out with friends in Time Square after getting SPM results. We spent our time on arcade games and in the bowling centre. During the bowling games, I realised that scholars really sucks in bowling! Haha. Well, all got improved during the second game.

By the way, I would like to express my greatest gratitude to my parents, teachers and friends who have helped me succeeding in my SPM examination. Not forgetting to congratulate to all my friends who got excellent results in their SPM. Those who did not do well, do not give up. I will wish you all the best in your future endeavours!

My dear friends, hope we will meet again soon! =D

Epi 17: SPM Results.

The Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination results are expected to be released on 12th March 2009. Two more days to go. Fear, anxiety, nervousness, excitement, insomnia and maybe NIGHTMARES. What else? The releasing of SPM examination results is striking the candidates' heart every moment from now.

Some will take it easy - they are confident with the straight As. Some are worry if they can pass with flying colours. Some will not care about it as they come from well-to-do family - they have the money to study abroad or go to college. Some might have the desire of suiciding before the results are released. Well, I do really hope you are not that pessimistic.

We are the creators of our own destiny. People who are illiterate can become one of the richest men in the world. Lim Goh Tong is one good example. You get good result - does it assure that you are a lawyer, a doctor, a scientist or a successful person in the future? You get bad result - why give up? It is not the end of the world!

LIFE MUST GO ON.

Dear SPM candidates 2008, I do not know what is on your mind now. But whatever it is, just believe in yourself. We have done our best in the exams and there is nothing we can to do in changing our results. After all, excellent SPM result is just the creator of opportunities in scholarships or the passport of entering good universities/colleges.

By the way, I hope for straight A1s. Wish me luck! XD

Epi 15: My First Day in Himawari.

On the 28th of February, it was my first day working as a part time waiter in a Japanese restaurant called Himawari. It was located in Japan Club near Midvalley Megamall. People said I am truly Yakuza because even my part time job was related to the people of the land of rising sun.

I planned to drive myself to the working place, but my parents decided to send me there as they were worried about my safety and I might be late for work as I was still an amateurish driver. Thanks to my parents for being so attentive. I love them. <3

Mandy is my mum's friend, that is why i got the part time job easily. Since it is a part time job, I am required to work only on Saturday and Sunday, the days when there will be lots of customers during lunch and dinner time.

My break started from 3.00p.m to 5.30p.m. It was kinda long so I went to Midvalley for window shopping. LOL. Then back to my work until 10p.m. Glad that it was finally over as my legs were aching badly. It should have worn other kinds of shoes instead of black leather shoes.

I would like to thank San, the most hardworking and friendliest colleague, for teaching me so many things about a waiter's job. She also gave a lot of advices about the do's and do not's while serving the customers. Well, working as waiter was really a fun experience, but I truly understand that working life was not as easy as we thought after all.
