Happy Chinese New Year's Eve to ALL.
Have a great reunion dinner with your loved ones! =D
Life sometimes can be difficult, cruel and unfair. But always stay positive. Look on the inside. Prove those negative thoughts wrong. Appreciate what you see. It's all about how you look at it. Get motivated and always remember that some things can pass with time. Don't stop yourself from feeling the joy and develop a gratitude journal.

Habits That Makes You Sick
1. Don't sleep enough.
Studies show that sleep too little will cause low levels of leptin (hormone which helps keep appetite under control). A person might overeat the next day if he/she sleeps too little. Production of chemicals in the immune system that defend your body against germs will shut down. Sleep deprivation also can turn up levels of chronic inflammation, which increases the risk for heart attacks, strokes, osteoporosis and etc.
2. Skip breakfast.
There's a high shortage of glucose in your bloodstream after a long night's rest. If you don't eat breakfast and head out the door with low blood sugar, your brains will not operate at full speed as they need steady flow of blood sugar to run effectively. You may also feel less sharp-witted.
3. Don't exercise.
Being idle for the whole day will cause your body converts unused sugar to fats. Fat cells around the waistline produce chemicals that cause insulin resistance and low-grade inflammation, which promotes heart diseases and other conditions. High blood sugar levels damage nerves and blood cells, cause diabetes complications such as blindness and kidney disease.
4. Hold grudges.
Staying angry for a long time is terrible for your health. It raises blood sugar level and blood pressure, damage your heart and produces endothelin (trigger heart attacks by causing plaques in the arteries). Other research has found that intense, sustained anger can actually cause an arrhythmia, or irregular heartbeat, which can stop your ticker from ticking permanently.
Take good care of yourself folks. Good night. =)

RM200 Book Voucher!
Got my RM200 book voucher yesterday from the Faculty General Office, courtesy of the government.
Due to Borders' damn-super-awesome promotions, I went to The Gardens' Borders today and spent RM100 book vouchers. For every RM100 book vouchers spent, one is entitled to get a Borders membership card (two supplementary cards provided), a Starbucks tall-sized beverage (it's LIMITED by the way) for FREE! The vouchers can also be used with discounts and promotions.
HOWEVER, the vouchers are NOT applicable for magazines and stationery! Which I wanted to get at the first place. Well, every good thing always has a price to pay. =P
With RM100 book vouchers, I've bought two books:
The Rules of Life (2nd Edition) by Richard Templar, who has written several best selling self-development books. He has 30 years of experience in the business world.
Believe: Creating Unlimited Possibilities in Life (相信:创造生命中的无限可能)by Lee Kim Soon (李金城), who is a successful Amway businessman.
Not forgetting the Starbucks:
I chose Green Tea Frappuccino Ice Blended! XD
Now I have to think of where and how to spend my next RM100 book voucher. =P
Take care people.

New Year's Movies
Watched two awesome movies during the New Year period.
The lives of several couples and singles in New York intertwine over the course of New Year's Eve. It is a heartwarming movie with some great humours in it. The movie teaches us to appreciate people around us and celebrate events together with them. By the way, I just can't understand why the movie has got such a low rating - 5.2/10.
Sherlock Holmes is back! Sherlock Holmes and his sidekick Dr. Watson join forces to outwit and bring down their fiercest adversary, Professor Moriarty. Part 2 has more creativity and funny elements compare to Part 1. The rating of the movie is higher than the previous one.
