Epi 46: Merdeka!

31 August 2009 marks the 52th year of our beloved country's independence from British colonisation. It is a national day of Malaysia commemorating the contribution of the Father of Independence, Tunku Abdul Rahman and other calibre leaders, who have strived hard to get the independence of the Federation of Malaya from British.

The celebration of our 52th National Day seems to be much quieter compared to previous years. I hardly see the Jalur Gemilang hang outside the houses, buildings and street. I used to see lots of Jalur Gemilang fluttering on cars but I do not even see one this year. How sad. Where are the usual things that arouse the Merdeka mood? =(

There will not even have the Merdeka parade this year due to the contagious pandemic H1N1 and fasting month for the Muslims. Even so, Malaysians especially the younger generations should show their true patriotic spirits by being civilised citizens and maintaining the good name of the country, not necessary to take part in parade or wave the flag to show patriotism.

Everyday should be the national day for all Malaysians, what do you think? =)

Epi 45 : Bleach.

I'm so addicted to Bleach after I started to watch the first episode. I watch from day to night everyday until I do not have the time to update my blog even though I'm having one week semester break. Sighed. Sorry folks, for being reluctant to update my blog.

Bleach is about a 15-year-old high school student Kurosaki Ichigo sho is a extraordinary kid because he has the ability to see ghosts. Since his young age, he is able to see spirits from the afterlife. One day, Ichigo's life changes completely when he and his two sisters are attacked by an evil, hungry and tormented spirit known as a Hollow.

Right in the nick of time, Ichigo and his siblings are aided by a Shinigami also known as Death God named Kuchiki Rukia, whose responsibility it is to send good spirits to the afterlife known as Soul Society, and to purify Hollows and send them up to Soul Society. But during the fight against the Hollow, Rukia is injured and must transfer her powers to Ichigo. With this newly acquired power, so begins Kurosaki Ichigo's training and duty as a Shinigami to maintain the balance between the world of the living and the world of the dead.

Bleach is a nice anime indeed. Most people around me watch Bleach. However, it takes away my precious time to catch up with my A level syllabus and homework. Urgh! =(

Epi 43: PC Fair.

Together with my family, I'm on my way to KLCC at 10a.m. for PC fair. The reason that I go to this PC fair is because my uncle and my sister want me to choose laptop for them. Kids nowadays are so fortunate because their wants can be satisfied easily. Just like my sister who can get a laptop at the age of 10. =/ There is no need to envy my sister because I appreciate what I already have right now. =)

Well, I choose the Acer laptops for them which are much better and cheaper price compare to mine. T.T Blame myself for buying a laptop too early. Anyway, I bought a 16GB Kingston pendrive and a stylo laptop skin. XD

To me, this is the best attraction in PC Fair. >.<
